Air New Zealand to suspend Hong Kong – Heathrow flights

Air New Zealand will suspend HKG-LHR services from March 2013. As a consequence the LHR Cabin Crew base will be reduced by approximately 70 people. Capacity will be increased to LAX and SFO.
Air NZ and Cathay Pacific will enter into a strategic partnership which will include code-sharing, reciprocity with lounges/frequent flyer benefits. Both carriers will maintain currently frequencies on services from AKL-HKG.
