Emirates confirms Milan Malpensa – New York Kennedy services

As previously reported on Airline Hub Buzz, Emirates will resume trans-Atlantic services from Europe to North America. Emirates in the past operated Dubai – Hamburg – New York services.

In addition to its thrice daily dedicated services Dubai-Malpensa, effective the  new 4th daily flight Milan flight will continue to JFK and will have the following schedule.

Emirates flight EK205 – Dubai to New York (Via Milan Malpensa)
Aircraft: Boeing 777-300ER – 3 cabin service
DXB-MXP dep: 0910 arr: 1350
MXP-JFK dep: 1600 arr: 1810

Emirates flight EK206 – New York Kennedy to Dubai (Via Milan Malpensa)
Aircraft: Boeing 777-300ER – 3 cabin service
JFK-MXP dep: 2215 arr: 1215 – next day
MXP-DXB dep: 1400 arr: 2205

Singapore Airlines had also stated in the past about its intention to serve the Milan-New York market; however there are no firm plans at this time. ALITALIA, Delta Air Lines and American Airlines also offer non-stop services MXP-JFK.

In summary Emirates will thus operated 4 daily services from Dubai to Malpensa and 3 daily flights to JFK (two non-stop and one via MXP).
