Etihad to go daily to Brisbane and Singapore

16AUG12: – Eithad Airways will increase its present thrice weekly Airbus A330-200s Abu Dhabi – Singapore – Brisbane service to daily effective 01FEB13. The flight will be in code-share with alliance partner Virgin Australia.

The increase was announced by Etihad CEO, James Hogan who is in Australian this week. Hogan also announced the creation of a Melbourne maintenance based which will employ three full time engineers and three full time technicians.

The naming rights at Melbourne’s Etihad Stadium were extended and re-signed for another five years until 2019.
